Fairgreen Sod Farms offers our unique “S.O.S” bagged garden soil delivery service. The S.O.S. is a “Sack of Soil.” Each bag is approximately 3′ x 3 ‘ x 3′ and holds over 1 cubic yard of quality Garden Soil. Topsoil, mulch and aggregates are also available for delivery using the S.O.S. system. With the S.O.S. system you have a very neat, clean, handy way of getting garden soil delivered to you. Our trucks are equipped with turf tire forklifts which enables them to travel across lawns (weather permitting) and driveways so that the bags can be placed where you need them. The 1 cubic yard bags can also be picked up at our yard in Markham or Oro-Medonte

The S.O.S. system minimizes the use of backbreaking wheelbarrows, or turf tearing skid steer loaders to move soil from your driveway to the backyard. We can place the bag as close to where you need it as possible. If you require the soil in an enclosed backyard, the bag can be placed directly outside your gate to greatly reduce the distance you have to move the soil.

Mother nature is no longer a problem. If it rains you just close the S.O.S. system up. The Sack of Soil system eliminates the messy cleanup operation when you get a truck load of soil dumped in your driveway! So put your mark where you need your “S.O.S.” and we’ll do the rest!

Fairgreen Sod Farms offer four different blends of soil: topsoil, triple mix, garden soil, and now garden soil with wollastonite. All of our soil is blended at our main location using state of the art, McCloskey screening equipment. Our soil is screened on a regular basis to ensure that all soil is loose and free of debris. Soil can also be purchased from Fairgreen in a variety of different volumes to meet all our customers’ needs. We offer bulk, loose soil (topsoil and triple mix) that can be picked up at the yard in Markham and Oro-Medonte or delivered to your house or job site and dumped loose in your driveway.

We also offer smaller 30-litre bags of topsoil and triple mix that are available for pick up at our Oro-Medonte yard. Fairgreen offers two varieties of loose bulk soil: topsoil and triple mix.

The topsoil Fairgreen sells is light and sandy, ideal for your sod site preparation. This includes final grading or backfilling large or small areas. Topsoil should not be used in your gardens or to top dress your lawn. For larger projects Fairgreen sells bulk, loose triple mix.

Triple mix is made up of manure, peat, and compost. Our triple mix, which is high in nutrients, is suitable for your growing lawn and gardens. Both blends of soil are available for pick up in our yard or can also be delivered directly to your job site or home. (delivery area restrictions may apply)
